HELLO everybody~~~

arhahaha.. bet most of u reading this are still in shock after the @#%@#$!@# GP paper this morning~~

LOL!! no worries!! its over!! 1 paper down and a few more to go. -.-

ANYWAY!!! to make sure u guys revised for chem~~ can help me solve this question??

here goes:

10 cm^3 of a gaseous hydrocarbon was completely burnt in 40 cm^3 of oxygen. After cooling to room temperature the residual gas was passed through aqueous KOH. The volume of gas decreased to 15 cm^3. What is the molecular formula of the hydrocarbon.
